This Toshiba laptop is made from hardware supplied by SGS, Intel, Microsoft, Sunplus Technology, Texas Instruments and Agere. The Intel 82801 Mobile PCI Bridge System hardware is also found in 87 other systems. The Human Interface hardware was made by Sunplus Technology, called the wireless keyboard mouse device. As well as the Toshiba Portage M400, Sunplus Technology have made this device for use in 52 similar systems. The Biometric device is managed by fingerprint reader. Mobile 945gm gms 943 940gml express integrated is the device that controls the graphics.

Hd audio has n10 ich 7 high definition controller and the sigmatel high definition audio. Human interface runs on wireless keyboard mouse.

The Ieee 1394 device is managed by pcixx12 ohci compliant ieee 1394 host controller. Toshiba software modem is the device that controls the modem. Network has 82573l gigabit ethernet and the golan pro wireless 3945abg. Pcmcia runs on pcixx12 cardbus.

The Sd host controllers device is managed by pcixx12 sda standard compliant sd host controller. Storage has 82801g ide ich7 and the 82801gbm ghm sata ahci ich7.
