This Toshiba laptop is made from hardware supplied by ATI, Realtek, Texas Instruments, Agere, Atheros, ENE Technology and Super Top. The Agere TOSHIBA Software Modem Modem hardware is also found in 22 other systems. The Network hardware was made by Atheros, called the ar2413 nic device. As well as the Toshiba Equium A100-549, Atheros have made this device for use in 9 similar systems. The Graphics device is managed by radeon xpress 200m rc410. The Toshiba Equium A100-549Hd audio device is named the ixp sb4x0 high definition controller and the high definition audio.

The Ieee 1394 system makes use of the tsb43ab21 ieee 1394a 2000 controller device. Modem runs on toshiba software modem.

Network has ar2413 nic and the rtl 8139 8139c 8139c. The pcmcia system uses two devices, the pci1410 pc card cardbus and the cb1410 cardbus controller. The Storage system makes use of the ixp sb400 sata controller device.
