This Sony laptop is made from hardware supplied by Alps Electric, Intel, nVidia, Philips, Realtek, Microsoft, Conexant, VIA, Logitech, KYE Systems, Razer, Ricoh, Texas Instruments, Marvell Technology, Atheros, Hewlett Packard and JMicron. The Alps Electric BCM2046 Bluetooth hardware is also found in 132 other systems. The Human Interface hardware was made by Logitech, called the cordless mouse receiver device. As well as the Sony Vaio, Logitech have made this device for use in 122 similar systems. The Bluetooth device is managed by bcm2046. The Graphics is reported to use 6 different devices, the mobile 4 series chipset integrated, geforce 8500 gt g86, geforce go 7400 g72m, saa7134 saa7135hl video broadcast decoder, 4 series chipset integrated and the mobile 4 series chipset integrated.
The Hd audio is reported to use 11 different devices, the 82801i hd controller ich9, high definition audio, 82801i hd controller ich9, realtek high definition audio, n10 ich 7 high definition controller, sigmatel high definition audio, high definition audio, 82801ji hd controller ich10, via high definition audio, 82801i hd controller ich9 and the realtek high definition audio.
The Human interface is reported to use 4 different devices, the cordless mouse receiver, usb, wireless laser mouse 6000 reciever and the copperhead mouse. The Ieee 1394 is reported to use 4 different devices, the r5c551 ieee 1394 controller, fire ii ohci controller vt6306 7 8, pcixx12 ohci compliant ieee 1394 host controller and the r5c551 ieee 1394 controller. The Imaging is reported to use 3 different devices, the usb composite, r5u870 visual communication camera vgp vcc4 and the sony vaio integrated webcam.
Modem runs on hdaudio sof t v92 tdata fax modem smartcp. The Multimedia device is managed by saa7130 video broadcast decoder. The Network is reported to use 8 different devices, the wifi link 5100, 88e8040 pci e fast ethernet marvell, l1 gigabit ethernet, rtl 8139 8139c 8139c, pro 100 ve, golan pro wireless 3945abg, rtl8111 8168b pci express gigabit ethernet and the 88e8055 pci e gigabit ethernet. The Pcmcia system makes use of the pcixx12 cardbus device. Printer runs on officejet 6300. Sd host controllers has r5c822 sd sdio mmc ms mspro host adapter and the r5c822 sd sdio mmc ms mspro host adapter. The Storage is reported to use 10 different devices, the ich9m m e sata ahci, jmb362 jmb363 serial ata, 82801ib 2 port sata ide ich9, 82801i 2 port sata ide ich9, 82801gbm ghm sata ahci ich7, 82801g ide ich7, jmb368 ide, 82801ji 4 port sata ide 1 ich10, 82801ji 2 port sata ide 2 ich10 and the ich9m m e sata ahci.
