This Sony laptop is made from hardware supplied by AMD, ATI, Philips, Realtek, Microsoft, A4 Tech, nVidia and Lexar. The Microsoft High Definition Audio HD Audio hardware is also found in 237 other systems. The Human Interface hardware was made by A4 Tech, called the usb device. As well as the Sony RM-GP5U, A4 Tech have made this device for use in 11 similar systems. The Graphics is reported to use 3 different devices, the radeon hd 4670 rv730xt, rv710 730 and the saa7134 saa7135hl video broadcast decoder.

The Sony RM-GP5UHd audio device is named the realtek high definition audio and the high definition audio.

The Human interface system makes use of the usb device. Multimedia runs on usb composite. The Network device is managed by mcp61 ethernet. Mcp61 sata is the device that controls the storage. The Xbox 360 controllers system makes use of the xbox 360 wireless adapter device.
