This Sony laptop is made from hardware supplied by ATI, Texas Instruments, ALi, Huawei, Atheros, Realtek, Kingston and NEC. The Huawei E620 USB Modem Modem hardware is also found in 555 other systems. The Storage hardware was made by Kingston, called the datatraveler usb flash drive device. As well as the Sony PCG-K415B, Kingston have made this device for use in 71 similar systems. The graphics system uses two devices, the radeon igp 330m 340m 350m and the pci 7420 7620 cardbus 1394a 2000 ohci sd ms pro controller.

Pci7x20 1394a 2000 ohci two port phy link layer is the device that controls the ieee 1394. Modem has m5457 ac97 modem and the e620 usb modem.

Multimedia runs on m5451 pci ac link controller audio. The Sony PCG-K415BNetwork device is named the ar5001x wireless and the rtl 8139 8139c 8139c. Pci7420 cardbus controller is the device that controls the pcmcia. The Storage system makes use of the datatraveler usb flash drive device.
