This Sony laptop is made from hardware supplied by ATI, Texas Instruments, Elan Microelectronics, ALi, Realtek, Silicon Motion and NEC. The Silicon Motion Flash Drive USB Flash Drive Storage hardware is also found in 136 other systems. The IEEE 1394 hardware was made by Texas Instruments, called the pci7x20 1394a 2000 ohci two port phy link layer device. As well as the Sony PCG-K315S, Texas Instruments have made this device for use in 3 similar systems. The graphics system uses two devices, the radeon mobility 9200 m9 5c61 agp and the pci 7420 7620 cardbus 1394a 2000 ohci sd ms pro controller.

Laser mouse is the device that controls the human interface. The Ieee 1394 system makes use of the pci7x20 1394a 2000 ohci two port phy link layer device.

Modem runs on m5457 ac97 modem. The Multimedia device is managed by m5451 pci ac link controller audio. Rtl 8139 8139c 8139c is the device that controls the network. The Pcmcia system makes use of the pci7420 cardbus controller device. Storage runs on flash drive usb flash drive.
