This Sony laptop is made from hardware supplied by ATI, Texas Instruments, Darfon Electronics, ALi, Realtek, Atheros, NEC and CMOTECH. The Atheros AR5001X Wireless Network hardware is also found in 12 other systems. The Graphics hardware was made by Texas Instruments, called the pci 7420 7620 cardbus 1394a 2000 ohci sd ms pro controller device. As well as the Sony PCG-K23F, Texas Instruments have made this device for use in 3 similar systems. The graphics system uses two devices, the radeon igp 330m 340m 350m and the pci 7420 7620 cardbus 1394a 2000 ohci sd ms pro controller.

Usb input is the device that controls the human interface. The Ieee 1394 system makes use of the pci7x20 1394a 2000 ohci two port phy link layer device.

Modem runs on m5457 ac97 modem. The Multimedia device is managed by m5451 pci ac link controller audio. Network has rtl 8139 8139c 8139c and the ar5001x wireless. The Pcmcia system makes use of the pci7420 cardbus controller device.
