This Sony laptop is made from hardware supplied by ATI, Texas Instruments, Dell, ALi, Atheros, Realtek, NEC and Genesys Logic. The Genesys Logic USB 4 Port HUB System hardware is also found in 128 other systems. The Network hardware was made by Atheros, called the ar5001x wireless device. As well as the Sony PCG-K215Z, Atheros have made this device for use in 12 similar systems. The graphics system uses two devices, the radeon mobility 9200 m9 5c61 agp and the pci 7420 7620 cardbus 1394a 2000 ohci sd ms pro controller.

Keyboard is the device that controls the human interface. The Ieee 1394 system makes use of the pci7x20 1394a 2000 ohci two port phy link layer device.

Modem runs on m5457 ac97 modem. The Multimedia device is managed by m5451 pci ac link controller audio. Network has ar5001x wireless and the rtl 8139 8139c 8139c. The Pcmcia system makes use of the pci7420 cardbus controller device.
