This Sony laptop is made from hardware supplied by SiS, nVidia, Ricoh, Atheros and PointChips. The SiS 85C503 5513 LPC Bridge System hardware is also found in 16 other systems. The Graphics hardware was made by nVidia, called the geforce4 420 go nv17 device. As well as the Sony PCG-GRT995MP, nVidia have made this device for use in 1 similar systems. The Audio device is managed by ac 97 sound controller. Geforce4 420 go nv17 is the device that controls the graphics.

The Ieee 1394 system makes use of the r5c551 ieee 1394 controller device. Modem runs on ac 97 modem controller.

Network has 900 pci fast ethernet and the ar5001x wireless. Rl5c476 ii is the device that controls the pcmcia. The Usb system makes use of the flash disk device.
