This Sony laptop is made from hardware supplied by SiS, nVidia, Ricoh, Intersil and Sony. The Sony Memorystick MSC U03 Reader System hardware is also found in 21 other systems. The Graphics hardware was made by nVidia, called the geforce fx go5600 nv31m device. As well as the Sony PCG-GRT30P, nVidia have made this device for use in 1 similar systems. The Audio device is managed by ac 97 sound controller. Geforce fx go5600 nv31m is the device that controls the graphics.

The Ieee 1394 system makes use of the r5c551 ieee 1394 controller device. Modem runs on ac 97 modem controller.

Network has 900 pci fast ethernet and the prism 2 5 wavelan chipset. Rl5c476 ii is the device that controls the pcmcia.
