This Sony laptop is made from hardware supplied by SiS, nVidia, Microsoft, Ricoh and Sony. The Microsoft Notebook Optical Mouse Human Interface hardware is also found in 24 other systems. The Graphics hardware was made by nVidia, called the geforce4 420 go nv17 device. As well as the Sony PCG-GRT25L, nVidia have made this device for use in 1 similar systems. The Audio device is managed by ac 97 sound controller. Geforce4 420 go nv17 is the device that controls the graphics.

The Human interface system makes use of the notebook optical mouse device. Ieee 1394 runs on r5c551 ieee 1394 controller.

The Modem device is managed by ac 97 modem controller. 900 pci fast ethernet is the device that controls the network. The Pcmcia system makes use of the rl5c476 ii device.
