The IEEE 1394 hardware was made by Ricoh, called the r5c551 ieee 1394 controller device. As well as the Sony PCG-FR495EP, Ricoh have made this device for use in 2 similar systems. The Graphics device is managed by radeon igp 330m 340m 350m. R5c551 ieee 1394 controller is the device that controls the ieee 1394.

The Modem system makes use of the m5457 ac97 modem device. Multimedia runs on m5451 pci ac link controller audio.

Network has rt2561 rt61 pci and the rtl 8139 8139c 8139c. Rl5c476 ii is the device that controls the pcmcia.
