This Samsung laptop is made from hardware supplied by Intel, DigiTech, Atheros and Marvell Technology. The Intel 82801 Mobile PCI Bridge System hardware is also found in 87 other systems. The Network hardware was made by Atheros, called the ar9285 wireless pci express device. As well as the Samsung R530, Atheros have made this device for use in 2 similar systems. The graphics system uses two devices, the mobile 4 series chipset integrated and the mobile 4 series chipset integrated.

82801i hd controller ich9 is the device that controls the hd audio. The Imaging system makes use of the usb composite device.

Network has ar9285 wireless pci express and the 88e8040 pci e fast ethernet marvell. Storage runs on ich9m m e 2 port sata ide.
