This Samsung laptop is made from hardware supplied by Broadcom, Intel, nVidia, Realtek, Ricoh, Agere, Marvell Technology and Maxtor. The Broadcom Bluetooth Controller Bluetooth hardware is also found in 115 other systems. The Network hardware was made by Intel, called the golan pro wireless 3945abg device. As well as the Samsung NP-Q70, Intel have made this device for use in 100 similar systems. The Bluetooth device is managed by bluetooth controller. The Samsung NP-Q70Graphics device is named the mobile gm965 gl960 integrated and the geforce 8400m g g86.

Hd audio has enheden high definition audio and the 82801h hd controller ich8. Ieee 1394 runs on r5c551 ieee 1394 controller.

The Modem device is managed by agere systems hda modem. The Network is reported to use 3 different devices, the 88e8039 pci e fast ethernet marvell, kedron pro wireless 4965 ag agn and the golan pro wireless 3945abg. The Pcmcia system makes use of the rl5c476 ii device.

Sd host controllers has r5c822 sd sdio mmc ms mspro host adapter and the xd picture card controller. Smart card readers runs on r5c843 mmc host controller. The Storage device is managed by 82801hbm hem sata ide ich8m ich8m e. Basics portable usb is the device that controls the usb.
