This Samsung laptop is made from hardware supplied by Intel, nVidia, Ricoh, Broadcom and Realtek. The Intel 82801 PCI Bridge System hardware is also found in 88 other systems. The Storage hardware was made by Intel, called the 82801eb er ide ich5 ich5r device. As well as the Samsung NP-Q30 Plus, Intel have made this device for use in 2 similar systems. The Graphics is reported to use 3 different devices, the mobile 915gm gms 910gml express, mobile 915gm gms 910gml express and the geforce fx 5200 nv34.

R5c551 ieee 1394 controller is the device that controls the ieee 1394. Multimedia has 82801fb fbm fr fw frw ac97 audio controller ich6 and the 82801eb er ac97 audio controller ich5 ich5r.

The Network is reported to use 3 different devices, the calexico2 pro wireless 2200bg, bcm4401 b0 100base tx and the rtl 8139 8139c 8139c. Pcmcia runs on rl5c476 ii. The Sd host controllers device is managed by r5c822 sd sdio mmc ms mspro host adapter.
