This Panasonic laptop is made from hardware supplied by Intel, ATI, Microsoft, Ricoh, Conexant and Marvell Technology. The Intel Golan PRO Wireless 3945ABG Network hardware is also found in 100 other systems. The PCMCIA hardware was made by Ricoh, called the rl5c476 ii device. As well as the Panasonic Toughbook CF-51, Ricoh have made this device for use in 28 similar systems. The Graphics is reported to use 3 different devices, the mobile 945gm gms 943 940gml express integrated, mobile 915gm gms 910gml express and the mobility radeon x1300 m52.

The Panasonic Toughbook CF-51Hd audio device is named the sigmatel high definition audio and the n10 ich 7 high definition controller.

The Ieee 1394 system makes use of the r5c551 ieee 1394 controller device. Modem has hdaudio soft data fax modem smartcp and the 82801fb fbm fr fw frw ac97 modem ich6. Multimedia runs on 82801fb fbm fr fw frw ac97 audio controller ich6. The Network is reported to use 4 different devices, the 88e8053 pci e gigabit ethernet, golan pro wireless 3945abg, calexico2 pro wireless 2915abg and the golan pro wireless 3945abg.
