This Lenovo laptop is made from hardware supplied by Broadcom, Intel, Microsoft, Conexant, Ricoh and Lenovo. The Intel Golan PRO Wireless 3945ABG Network hardware is also found in 14 other systems. The Network hardware was made by Intel, called the kedron pro wireless 4965 ag agn device. As well as the Lenovo ThinkPad R61, Intel have made this device for use in 11 similar systems. The Bluetooth device is managed by bluetooth controller. The Lenovo ThinkPad R61Graphics device is named the mobile gm965 gl960 integrated and the mobile gm965 gl960 integrated.

The Hd audio is reported to use 3 different devices, the 82801h hd controller ich8, soundmax integrated digital hd audio and the high definition audio.
