This Lenovo laptop is made from hardware supplied by Broadcom, Intel, nVidia, Realtek, Trust, Ricoh, Chicony Electronics, Agere, Anubis Electronics, ENE Technology and Seagate. The Broadcom Bluetooth Controller Bluetooth hardware is also found in 117 other systems. The Modem hardware was made by Agere, called the agere systems hda modem device. As well as the Lenovo 3000 Y500, Agere have made this device for use in 91 similar systems. The Bluetooth device is managed by bluetooth controller. The Graphics is reported to use 3 different devices, the mobile 945gm gms 943 940gml express integrated, mobile 945gm gms gme 943 940gml express integrated and the geforce go 7400 g72m.

Hd audio has realtek high definition audio and the n10 ich 7 high definition controller. Human interface runs on optical mouse.

The Ieee 1394 device is managed by r5c551 ieee 1394 controller. Usb camera is the device that controls the imaging. The Modem system makes use of the agere systems hda modem device. Multimedia runs on flytv express mini analog. The Network is reported to use 3 different devices, the golan pro wireless 3945abg, rtl 8139 8139c 8139c and the bcm4311 wlan.

Cb1410 cardbus controller is the device that controls the pcmcia. Sd host controllers has r5c822 sd sdio mmc ms mspro host adapter and the xd picture card controller. Smart card readers runs on r5c843 mmc host controller. The Storage device is managed by 82801gbm ghm sata ide ich7.
