This LG laptop is made from hardware supplied by Cambridge Silicon Radio, Intel, Realtek, Dell, Quanta Computer, Microdia, Agere, Ralink, Marvell Technology, Atheros and ENE Technology. The Cambridge Silicon Radio Bluetooth Dongle HCI Mode Bluetooth hardware is also found in 111 other systems. The HD Audio hardware was made by Intel, called the intel high definition audio hdmi device. As well as the LG RD400-5D2A2, Intel have made this device for use in 100 similar systems. The Bluetooth device is managed by bluetooth dongle hci mode. The Graphics is reported to use 3 different devices, the mobile 4 series chipset integrated, mobile 945gm gms 943 940gml express integrated and the mobile 945gm gms gme 943 940gml express integrated.

The Hd audio is reported to use 5 different devices, the 82801i hd controller ich9, high definition audio, intel high definition audio hdmi, n10 ich 7 high definition controller and the high definition audio.

Human interface runs on optical 5 button wheel mouse. Imaging has usb composite and the sonix usb camera. Agere systems hda modem is the device that controls the modem. The Network is reported to use 4 different devices, the rt2860, rtl8111 8168b pci express gigabit ethernet, 88e8039 pci e fast ethernet marvell and the ar242x ar542x wireless pci express.

The Storage is reported to use 3 different devices, the ich9m m e 2 port sata ide, ich9m m e 2 port sata ide and the 82801g ide ich7.
