This IBM laptop is made from hardware supplied by Conexant, nVidia, Intel, Microsoft, Primax, Texas Instruments, Brother, VIA and Cypress. The Intel 82801 PCI Bridge System hardware is also found in 88 other systems. The HD Audio hardware was made by Intel, called the n10 ich 7 high definition controller device. As well as the IBM ThinkPad i1300, Intel have made this device for use in 3 similar systems. The Audio device is managed by cx23887 8 pcie broadcast 3d comb. Geforce 6500 nv44 is the device that controls the graphics.

Hd audio has n10 ich 7 high definition controller and the idt high definition audio. Human interface runs on usb human interface.

The Ieee 1394 device is managed by tsb43ab23 ieee 1394a 2000 controller. Mfc 8500 is the device that controls the imaging. The Multimedia system makes use of the envy24 ice1712 pci multi channel io controller device. Network runs on n10 ich 7.

Storage has 82801g ide ich7 and the n10 ich7 sata ide.
