This IBM laptop is made from hardware supplied by Foxconn, Intel, ATI, Microsoft, Realtek, Chicony Electronics, Agere, Broadcom and OEM. The Microsoft High Definition Audio HD Audio hardware is also found in 237 other systems. The Network hardware was made by Intel, called the wifi link 5100 device. As well as the IBM ThinkPad Z60t, Intel have made this device for use in 96 similar systems. The Bluetooth device is managed by broadcom 2046 bluetooth edr usb. Mobility radeon hd 4500 5100 m92 is the device that controls the graphics.

The Hd audio is reported to use 3 different devices, the 82801i hd controller ich9, high definition audio and the high definition audio.

Imaging runs on acer crystaleye webcam. The Modem device is managed by agere systems hda modem. Network has netlink bcm5784m gigabit ethernet pcie and the wifi link 5100. The Storage system makes use of the ich9m m e sata ahci device.
