This IBM laptop is made from hardware supplied by AuthenTec, Broadcom, Intel, ALi, Conexant, Pixart, Ricoh and Garmin. The Pixart Optical Mouse Human Interface hardware is also found in 147 other systems. The Digital Camera hardware was made by ALi, called the m5602 video camera controller device. As well as the IBM Lenovo V200, ALi have made this device for use in 38 similar systems. The Biometric device is managed by aes1600. Bluetooth controller is the device that controls the bluetooth.

The Digital camera system makes use of the m5602 video camera controller device. Graphics runs on mobile gm965 gl960 integrated.

Hd audio has 82801h hd controller ich8 and the high definition audio. Optical mouse is the device that controls the human interface. The Ieee 1394 system makes use of the r5c551 ieee 1394 controller device.

Modem runs on hda cx20549 soft modem. The Network is reported to use 3 different devices, the netlink bcm5906m fast ethernet pci express, kedron pro wireless 4965 ag agn and the golan pro wireless 3945abg. Edge 605 is the device that controls the satnav. Sd host controllers has r5c822 sd sdio mmc ms mspro host adapter and the xd picture card controller. Smart card readers runs on r5c843 mmc host controller. The Storage is reported to use 3 different devices, the 82801hbm hem ide ich8m ich8m e, 82801hbm hem sata ahci ich8m e and the 82801hbm hem sata ide ich8m ich8m e.
