This HP pc is made from hardware supplied by Techwell, nVidia, Realtek, Primax and AMD. The Primax USB Composite Human Interface hardware is also found in 8 other systems. The Storage hardware was made by nVidia, called the mcp61 sata device. As well as the HP Cq5500f, nVidia have made this device for use in 3 similar systems. The graphics system uses two devices, the multimedia video and the geforce 6150se nforce 430 c61. The HP Cq5500fHd audio device is named the mcp61 high definition and the realtek high definition audio.

The Human interface system makes use of the usb composite device. Network runs on mcp61 ethernet.

The Storage device is managed by mcp61 sata.
