This Gateway laptop is made from hardware supplied by Intel, Textech International, Ricoh, Realtek and Alcor Micro. The Textech International Mini Optical Mouse Human Interface hardware is also found in 120 other systems. The Network hardware was made by Intel, called the calexico2 pro wireless 2200bg device. As well as the Gateway 4547MX, Intel have made this device for use in 62 similar systems. The Audio device is managed by 82801db dbl dbm ac97 sound ich4 ich4 l ich4 m. 82852 855gm integrated is the device that controls the graphics.

The Human interface system makes use of the mini optical mouse device. Ieee 1394 runs on r5c551 ieee 1394 controller.

The Modem device is managed by 82801db dbl dbm ac97 modem ich4 ich4 l ich4 m. Network has rtl 8139 8139c 8139c and the calexico2 pro wireless 2200bg. The Pcmcia system makes use of the rl5c476 ii device. Storage runs on 82801dbm ide ich4 m.
