How do I use RSCDS?

Locate the search bar on the left hand side of this page and type in the model number of your laptop PC or mobile phone etc . The sort of information you will need to put into the search tool could be something like: Dell Inspiron 8000, LG Shine, BT Synergy 3100, Toshiba Tecra, Sony Vaio GN-S or even words like Toshiba or just 1640, all would get results.

Start with the most simple search like Acer Aspire and if you cant see what your looking for then add some more specific information.

Alternatively you can use the manufacturers button on the top navigation bar. Locate your manufacturer and then proceed to find the model number of the system your looking for. Click the model number and everything we have for that particular system will be displayed. We will normally hold service manuals, user guides, specification sheets, diagnostics, recovery cds, installation software and many other items, for each model number. These items are not generic and relate only to that particular system. . Obviously if your looking for mobile phone software or digital camera manuals then the information would look considerably different

How do I receive my download?

DOWNLOADS ARE INSTANT AND AVAILABLE 24/7

Once you have pressed the buy it now button, you will be sent to a checkout. This checkout will then take some personal information off you. This is required by U.K. law as we have to raise a taxable invoice even for downloads (If you are not an E.U. resident then no tax will be charged)

When filling in this form the most important thing to remember is your email address. When filling in your email address enter it all in lower-case and remember the email address your are using (50% of all customer problems relate to the incorrect inputting of their email address!). You will then be re-directed to our payment gateway secure-payment-hub.com. Once you have paid for your item, you will be automatically logged back into your account. You will also be emailed your password and your login information, but this should not be required as you should already be logged in. You will now have access to an account that will hold every download you have ever purchased from numus software, independent of what website you used.

I you have ordered a physical item then use the <view> link to see your shipping / tracking information. By using this type of account or library you can build and keep safe all the drivers service manuals and recovery cds for your system. If ever the worse happens and you loose you computers configuration your recovery system is always there for you.

How do I download a CD?

You will be asked to download and install the “Numus Disk Builder and Burner” Software

The “Numus Disk Builder and Burner” software is required because all products provided by RSCDS are downloaded in a compressed encrypted format to the “Numus Disk Builder and Burner”. Some ISO's are big! A DVD is 4Gb so we had to find some way of minimising download times.

We also have had issues with customers writing CDS DVD etc or converting the ISO into physical item. We therefore built into the “Numus Disk Builder and Burner” CD writing software. The whole process of downloading to physically holding a CD or DVD in your hands is very easy... even my grandma can do it :)

Only download the “Numus Disk Builder and Burner” software from you account area. Do not look for it on the net as it will not be written by us and is likely some hacker wanting exploit your system. Our software is only available to our customers once they have paid and is not available anywhere else.

Help I don't have an CD writing software that knows what a .ISO file is

You dont need it !! see the description above! but if you really want to convert the ISO yourself some good programs are below

ISO Recorder Power Toy (Freeware) - ISO Recorder is a Windows XP freeware utility that uses native Windows XP functions to write images to a CD. You can download this utility from the author‘s Web page. When the program is installed, it is automatically associated with the ISO file extension in Windows Explorer.For more information about this utility, visit the author‘s Web page at iso recorder and consider donating some cash if you use his program.
