This Asus laptop is made from hardware supplied by SiS, ATI, Realtek, Syntek, Motorola and Atheros. The Atheros AR242x AR542x Wireless PCI Express Network hardware is also found in 29 other systems. The Imaging hardware was made by Syntek, called the sonix usb camera device. As well as the Asus F5SL-AP130C, Syntek have made this device for use in 2 similar systems. The Audio device is managed by azalia sound. Mobility radeon hd 3400 is the device that controls the graphics.

The Hd audio system makes use of the high definition audio device. Imaging runs on sonix usb camera.

The Modem device is managed by motorola sm56 data fax modem. Network has 191 gigabit ethernet and the ar242x ar542x wireless pci express. The Storage system makes use of the sata ide mode device.
