This recovery CD will only work for use with A7V Asus. This recovery CD contains every driver for your Asus A7V.

This Asus laptop is made from hardware supplied by VIA, ATI, Lite-On and Western Digital. The Western Digital My Passport Essential SE External HDD Storage hardware is also found in 26 other systems. The Storage hardware was made by VIA, called the vt6420 sata raid device. As well as the Asus A7V, VIA have made this device for use in 2 similar systems. The Audio device is managed by vt8233 a 8235 8237 ac97 sound. The Asus A7VGraphics device is named the radeon 9700 pro r300 nd and the radeon 9700 pro radeon r300.

The Human interface system makes use of the usb composite device. Storage has vt6420 sata raid and the my passport essential se external hdd.
