This Acer laptop is made from hardware supplied by ATI, Suyin, Microsoft, Realtek, OEM, Conexant, BEHRINGER, Broadcom, Atheros, AMD and Acer. The Microsoft ATI HDMI Audio HD Audio hardware is also found in 71 other systems. The Network hardware was made by Broadcom, called the netlink bcm5784m gigabit ethernet pcie device. As well as the Acer Aspire 1710, Broadcom have made this device for use in 41 similar systems. The Audio device is managed by radeon hd 4200 rs880 sound. Cn0314 webcam is the device that controls the digital camera.

The Graphics system makes use of the mobility radeon hd 4200 m880g device. Hd audio has ati hdmi audio and the realtek high definition audio.

Human interface runs on ps 2 keyboard mouse. The Modem device is managed by hda cx11270 softmodem. Bcd3000 is the device that controls the multimedia. Network has netlink bcm5784m gigabit ethernet pcie and the ar928x wireless pci express.

Storage runs on sb7x0 sb8x0 sb9x0 sata controller.
