This Acer laptop is made from hardware supplied by ATI, Elan Microelectronics, Microsoft, Texas Instruments, Intel, Guillemot, Broadcom, Atheros, Marvell, Power Quotient International and Genesys Logic. The Genesys Logic USB 4 Port HUB System hardware is also found in 128 other systems. The Storage hardware was made by Power Quotient International, called the usb flash drive device. As well as the Acer Aspire 1692WLMi, Power Quotient International have made this device for use in 12 similar systems. The Graphics device is managed by radeon mobility x700 pcie. The Acer Aspire 1692WLMiHuman interface device is named the laser mouse and the comfort curve keyboard 2000.

The Ieee 1394 system makes use of the ohci compliant ieee 1394 host controller device. Modem runs on 82801fb fbm fr fw frw ac97 modem ich6.

Multimedia has 82801fb fbm fr fw frw ac97 audio controller ich6 and the hercules classic silver. The Network is reported to use 4 different devices, the calexico2 pro wireless 2200bg, netxtreme bcm5788 gigabit ethernet, ar5008 wireless and the libertas 88w8338. The Pcmcia system makes use of the pci xx21 x515 cardbus controller device.
