This Acer laptop is made from hardware supplied by ATI, Texas Instruments and Realtek. The ATI IXP200 3COM 3C920B Ethernet Network hardware is also found in 6 other systems. The PCMCIA hardware was made by Texas Instruments, called the pci1520 pc card cardbus device. As well as the Acer Aspire 1661, Texas Instruments have made this device for use in 2 similar systems. The Graphics device is managed by mobility radeon 9600 m10 rv350. Tsb43ab22 a ieee 1394a 2000 controller phy link is the device that controls the ieee 1394.

The Modem system makes use of the ixp ac97 modem device. Multimedia runs on ixp150 ac97 audio controller.

Network has rtl 8139 8139c 8139c and the ixp200 3com 3c920b ethernet. Pci1520 pc card cardbus is the device that controls the pcmcia. The Storage system makes use of the dual channel bus master pci ide controller device.
