This Acer laptop is made from hardware supplied by Intel, Realtek, Creative Labs, Chicony Electronics, Atheros and Genesys Logic. The Intel 82801 Mobile PCI Bridge System hardware is also found in 87 other systems. The Storage hardware was made by Genesys Logic, called the usb ide adapter device. As well as the Acer Aspire 1420P, Genesys Logic have made this device for use in 10 similar systems. The graphics system uses two devices, the mobile 4 series chipset integrated and the mobile 4 series chipset integrated.

The Acer Aspire 1420PHd audio device is named the 82801i hd controller ich9 and the realtek high definition audio.

The Human interface system makes use of the mosart multi touch device. Imaging runs on usb composite. Network has ar8131 gigabit ethernet and the centrino wireless n 1000. The storage system uses two devices, the usb ide adapter and the ich9m m e sata ahci.
